Thai Yoga Therapy is an ancient healing art consisting of soft tissue pressing, stretching, twisting and joint manipulations. It has been in the process of constant evolution for over 1000 years. Thai Yoga Therapy focuses on the Sen channels in which the body’s vital life energy flows. Through application of pressure on energy lines and points, and a vast array of passive stretching movements performed with the hands, feet, knees and elbow’s, the body experiences profound relaxation, increased flexibility and increased flow of energy. It is performed on a futon on the floor with the client comfortably dressed.
Relaxation:
A massage that promotes relaxation for your body and soul. This slow paced massage promotes blood and lymphatic circulation while melting away stress, and relieving muscle pain. Swedish: A relaxing light-touch massage that promotes blood and lymph circulation back into the heart.
Therapeutic:
A relaxation massage combined with restorative massage treatments in areas-of-complaintmuscle groups defined by the client.
Deep Tissue:
A massage that gradually penetrates deep into the body. This client-goal oriented massage restores the natural length of muscles while addressing pain-relief, and muscle imbalances.
Sports:
This massage is 100% client-goal oriented. Depending on theindividual this massage can include pre-event massage, post-event massage,restorative massage, or inter-competition massage.
Integrated “Shiatsu” relaxation: Western Shiatsu massage combined with theRelaxation massage to promote balance and leave you feeling rejuvenated.
Integrated “Shiatsu” sports:
Western Shiatsu combined with the sportsmassage. This allows for better stretching techniques and deeper pressure.
