DESCRIPTION:Yoga Your Way LLC\n20-Hour Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training\nOctober 14\, 15\, & 28\, 2023\n10AM-5PM (with lunch break)\n \nAn impactful\, in-person\, and in-depth approach to understanding how trauma forms in the body\, how to effectively and empathetically show up for yourself and your students regardless of race-identity-culture-or disability\, and how to build and apply a yoga class that is accessible to everybody.\n \nThis 3-day training will take you through topics such as:\n– Intersectionality\n– Types of trauma\n– Effects of oppression and privilege and the role we play\n– Adverse Childhood Experiences\n– Mindfulness and Intention\n– Trauma Informed Language for guide and suggest movement\n– How to set up a safe space for your students\n– How to design a 20-60 minute program and how to implement it in your community\n– A guide to Meditation and Pranayama\n– & MORE\n \nBy the end of Day 3\, you will not only have identified a population you want to serve with this healing modality\, you will have built a 20-minute program\, practiced speaking in a trauma-informed manner\, and will have an even more compassionate outlook toward every person you meet\, even the ever-changing versions of yourself.\n \nThis Program is approved for 18 continued education units by Yoga Alliance and The Nevada State Boards of Psychological Examiners\, Examiners (MFT’s\, CPCs)\, and Social Workers.\n \nRegistration opens August 1\, 2023\nSpace is limited to 20 students\nScholarships are available\nGo to www.yogayourway.me/teachertraining\n
