I was lead through my first Sun Salutation during the summer of 2015.
A year later I was involved in a skateboarding accident that left me with multiple injuries including seven broken ribs, a punctured lung and a grade-3 shoulder separation. Yoga literally fixed my body; through the practice I regained full mobility and recovered my strength. During the spring of 2018 I embarked on a journey with an amazing group of people and two marvelous teachers—our Sacred Roots Teacher Training instructors Kelly Aguilera and Keri Huddleston provided us with guidance, well-rounded knowledge, and a deeper perspective on all that encompasses Yoga.
During this period of time I found Ashtanga and very quickly immersed myself into the practice. In hopes of furthering my studies I am working to complete my 200-hour Ashtanga in-depth study under the guidance of Carol Curry. I enjoy teaching and helping others experience what I’ve learned about yoga. Students in my class can expect to have fun, smile and challenge themselves.
